RitLog is completely redesigned

The entire interface has been given a completely new coat. Goodbye cold blue — RitLog now uses a warm cream-green palette that feels nicer for everyday use. Every card, every screen, every detail has been rethought. On top of that, the app automatically adapts to your phone's setting: choose light, dark, or let your phone decide for you.

RitLog now has widgets for your home screen — in small, medium and large sizes — plus a widget for your lock screen. At a glance you see your current mileage and the amount still to be claimed. And with a single tap you log a new trip straight away, without opening the app. Just like the app, the widget automatically adapts to light or dark.

RitLog now also supports business bike trips — something you rarely come across in other trip logging apps. For bike trips you log the distance in kilometres (after all, a bike has no odometer), so you can also account for your cycling kilometres correctly for the tax authorities. Simply through the same familiar screen as your car trips.

Do you have a company car and a private car (or a bike)? You can now create multiple vehicles and keep track of your trips and mileage per vehicle. Switching between vehicles takes just one tap from the home screen. All export overviews are neatly split per vehicle.

When logging a trip, the app now automatically suggests addresses based on your input — thanks to integration with Apple Maps. Locations you visit more often are recognised and automatically linked to your trips. That way you only have to enter the address of your office or client once.

New the first time you launch: the app asks for your current mileage. That way your records are accurate from the very first trip — no more separate starting figure you have to correct manually later. If you don't fill in the reading, the app gives a clear warning so you don't forget anything.

The PDF export now shows all columns correctly and in full — even longer categories like "Commuting" are no longer cut off. The vehicle's licence plate is listed separately per export. That way, at the end of the year you hand over an overview that's ready for your accountant right away.

RitLog has a new, fresh app icon that matches the refreshed colour palette: a bright brand-green background with a clear route symbol. The icon stands out on your home screen and fits the app's modern look.
